Specific Qualification Requirements:
Good knowledge of technical and functional architecture of ground control systems
- Previous experience in ground segment systems operations and maintenance shall be considered as an asset
- Good knowledge of space-to-ground interface and spacecraft command/control standards (CCSDS)
- Good or very good knowledge of the following operating systems and software standards/tools:
- UNIX, LINUX, Windows operating systems
- Oracle Database programming (>9) and replication
- TCP/IP internetworking and related network protocols and applications (FTP, SNMP, UDP, traceroute, netstat, snoop, tcpdump, Nagios, etc)
- C, C++ and Java programming for prototyping and development of tools
- Scripting languages (shell, awk, perl)
- Fluency in English is mandatory (both written and spoken)
- Experience in ground segment and/or spacecraft operations will be considered a distinct advantage
- Good practical and analytical skills
- Good editorial skills and ability to write clear reports and documents
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work effectively both autonomously as well as in an interdisciplinary team under sometimes stressful situations
Start date: As soon as possible
Remuneration: Depending on candidate qualifications
